From September 17-19 2019, the Sixth International Congress in Food Sciences and Technology CITA2019, hosted by the National Center for Food Sciences and Technology (CITA) and the Costa Rican Association of Food Technology (ASCOTA), took place in Costa Rica.

The success of previous editions of the event has positioned it as one of the most important in the region, celebrated every five years to unite experts from various fields and parts of the world.

Hundreds of professionals and organizations gathered in this space for learning and interaction, with the goal of creating and strengthening alliances to make regional agroindustry more dynamic and competitive.
